flower in the garden
far away from the hose
grows low to the ground
and close to the stones
this flower only blooms
one day of every year
and it's small petals
are perfectly clear
flower wilts the next day
if it misses the sun
if it is stepped on
or if it's pulled up
flower regrows next year
but's soon a trampled rose
next to the sidewalk
and far from the hose
